Windows 2008 Server Roles via Command Line

Doing some automated server builds I discovered a nice way to add server roles for Windows Server 2008 was to use “servermanagercmd.exe”.  An example is to add .NET Framework 3.5.1 you can run the following command:

“servermanagercmd.exe –install NET-Framework-Core”

If you run “servermanagercmd.exe –query” you can see a list of the roles and their short names.
