Disabling Windows Server 2008 SP2 UAC in a SCCM Task Sequence


This may seem simple but below is the command you need to run to disable Windows Server 2008 SP2 UAC.  Most of the posts I found had a little bit of a different spin calling CMD.EXE which does not need to be done in the TS…it will actually make it fail.  I also give this a “Time-out (minutes):” of “1”.

reg.exe ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
